What a certificate of analysis is, what we ask producers for, and where the per-batch reports will be.
1. What a COA is
A Certificate of Analysis is an independent laboratory report on one specific batch. It shows the measured cannabinoid content — CBD and THC among them — and the results of the purity checks.
It covers a batch, not a product in general: two batches of the same oil are tested separately.
2. What we ask producers for
- a report for every batch we take into stock;
- CBD and THC content measured rather than claimed;
- checks for heavy metals, pesticides and residual solvents;
- the name of the laboratory and the date of testing on the document itself.
3. How to read one
Match the batch number on the report against the one on the packaging — if they differ, the document belongs to different goods.
Look at the THC line: it has to be below the legal limit. Then the CBD line: the measured amount should agree with the label.
Finally check the date. A report from years ago does not describe the batch in your hand.
4. Reports by batch
There is not a single report here yet. We will not publish a document we have not received — for a CBD shop an invented certificate is worse than a missing one.
When the first batches arrive with their reports, they appear here: product, batch number, laboratory, date and a PDF to download.
Until then every product states only what can be checked: composition, spectrum, CBD content and volume.
